You can find webcasts in the areas of effectively creating and using Screencasts, podcasts, communication tools, surveys, amoungst many others, with advice about where and how to obtain the software (most of which are free to use – even better!).
Russell Stannard, the author, is a Principle teaching fellow at the University of Warwick and has won multiple awards for his teaching resources which are designed for teachers. Russell creates the website resources himself and puts the tools into action in his teaching. If you’ve been to some e-learning related conferences in the last couple of years you may well have come across Russell.
You can subscribe to the website for a monthly update – a frequency which is not too often to never open, but contains just enough information to keep you interested and possibly look into one or two of the videos included. It also means you don’t have to remember to go to the site to have a look around.
